ummmm...perhaps you aren't clear on what a teardrop maxima clam actually looks like......here's a beautiful example

While those are some beautiful clams, Rockfishs' pic is what I expect to see as a teardrop maxima.
Here's another examle of a teardrop maxima:

Now for something really different, check out this "reef koi" maxima. I've not seen one with this kind of pattern.

Fraggle Reef gets the blue ones in more often than a lot of the other places, here's a gorgeous one that they had a few days ago that made my jaw hit the floor...
