I have a 3 gallon JBJ Picotope with a maxima clam in it. I am wondering what kind of clean up crew would be suitable. I am concerned that some crabs may climb on the clam and injure it. Im I just being parinoid? I have a lot of red algea that I want to get under control. I also have some aiptasia anenomes scattered around the tank, would a pepperment shrimp take care of this?

I have maxima clams, and hermits in the tank. No problems.

As for pepermint shrimp, watch them. Once all the aptasia are gone, they can become coral eaters if they are not fed enough. Have a plan for how you are going to get it out of your tank once it has done its job.
