how hard would it be to determine the "name" of this piece, or at least, how much would something like this go for?

Don't be concerned if the chalice doesn't take the food. I've had mine for quite a while, and the times it's taken food can be counted on one hand. Certain types just don't feel the need, apparently. Mine's been doing well enough without!

I thought I would update this thread with a current picture. Well, this was actually taken a few months back. Not much growth but thats because my tank doesnt have any MG or CA.

When its under actincs it has gold/blue/pink color to it. The pink actually kind of stripes down the chalice.

just a generic rainbow chalice.

hard to tell w/o super lights.

yeah i posted the thread a while ago. I never really went on a quest to find out what it is, but this is how it turned out under a 150w mH. I suspect once my tank is 100% it will pump out some more color

Definatlely a chalice. Decent size i would say something like that would go for maybe $80 bucks once it gets some color if the color gets gnarly who knows. Nice piece though.
