On a more serious reefer note, if Sammie did in fact perish in the tank, shouldn't I have seen a spike in the skimmate? If anything, it's been running even more dry these last two days, producing hardly any skim.

check your ammonia/nitrite/nitrate levels. you'd see the spike there for sure.

The bummer is that I haven't replaced those kits yet. All I have are the ones that have suspect values. Although, I know that it's about .25 off on the ammonia, so if it's above that, I know there's a problem. I think I'll do that when I get home late tonight.

All of the snails and coral seem fine, so if there is an elevated level, it doesn't appear to be bothering anyone else.

BAR sounds scary to me...from what ive heard.

This is the multi-state professional responsibilities exam. It's like the multi-state bar examination (one third of the total Ohio bar exam), where it's all multiple choice. Passing the MPRE is required in Ohio in order to get a license to practice law.

It's alright, you've got a long way before you'd have to think about such things, if you pursue a J.D. This stuff is what all third year law students are thinking about though.

Well, third year is the last year for day students. And that's all after finishing an undergrad degree. I'm 24 though. I'll turn 25 two days after the bar exam is over.

Yeah, I'm kind of a youngin at the law school. I would have been even younger if I didn't take a year off to work. I start college when I was 16, though, so I'm used to being young by comparison.

Oh, and I'm actually the oldest in my family, and you have to go out to second-cousins to find anyone in my generation that is older than me.

Thanks! I think I'll find out the results a few weeks afterward, so it won't be too bad of a wait. The bar, on the other hand, is several months before the results come out. I'll take the bar in February, and I don't think the results come out until May or June.

Dude an AR-15 and a 45. If I had the money for guns that's what I would get. That brings back memories from when I taught marksmanship to Marines and my day would consist of endless amounts of rounds. Since I am so familiar with the M-16 and the Colt 45 the AR-15 and a 45 is what I want for myself. I envy you sir.

Were you a DI? A friend I used to shoot with, and who hooked me up with the AR15, was a Scout Sniper during Desert Storm. The AR15 and a .45 is probably one of the best combinations that a person can have! I ended up getting a Springfield Armory, though, rather than the Colt.

No I wasn't a DI, I didn't want the crazy long hours and I definitely didn't want to deal with the recruits crying about little miss susie rotten crotch back home. I was just a rifle and pistol range coach from time to time.

Funny story. I would have shooters complain that they were not hitting the target all the time and most of the time their elevation was set for the 200yd line when we were at the 500yd line. I called those Marines worm snipers. You could easily see puffs of smoke coming from the dirt under their target. Those poor worms never saw it coming.

Well, we were discussing tanks and hardware of a different sort. Back on topic soon though!

Sticking to the rifle and pistol range was probably a very good call! I haven't had much of a chance to hit up a 500 yard range, just because where I used to live they weren't very common. One of the things I really enjoy about the AR15, though, is it has battlefield sights. It's great for being able to keep around the house for those things up close and personal, while still being able to reach out and touch someone at 200 yards if need be, all without adjusting the sights.

Oh, and btw, that 1911 .45 is my normal concealed carry pistol of choice.

I picked up the pieces of the various hiding places, and he's no where to be found.
