I still have no idea what's going on either. Although we all knew DH had issues. Oh, and the few folks I've told the interceptor shipment story have gotten a kick out of. They call it my crack baggy!

Pismo: Yeah, it's going to be great, once it's all worked out. Unfortunately, my stand wasn't designed with this kind of overflow in mind, so I need to make some adjustments before it all gets to work.

The adjustments are coming soon though! It's down to either (1) physically move the tank back an inch on the stand or (2) fab an extension piece out of plexi. 2 is the easier choice, but 1 is the better long-term stability choice.

I can't be held responsible for what happens if you snort what was in that baggy. Although you'd probably never get heartworms.

I might have to try chopping up my allergy meds sometime. Perhaps a new delivery system, one that crosses the blood-brain barrier more efficiently, might make a difference!

Bad news. I left my power cord at the office , so my laptop is only going to be good for so long. I need to save battery power, so I'll only be popping in and out tonight.

Woohoo! I got my battery charger back for my laptop!

I also found the plug for my skimmate cup! It's still acting up though, so I'm going to take my LFS up on their offer to take a look at it if I bring it in. I'm hoping that it's still just the putty (I used a lot with all of the new frags) but we'll see. I'll probably take it in to them tomorrow.

Haha inorite? It's been a busy pair of days.... especially with forgetting my charger yesterday. Yesterday, I had my trip to the doc, finally, and I had a short-notice, but very fun christmas party last night. I turned in my last exam today! Today's going to be a day of tank and house cleaning, because the rest of this week could be equally busy, but in a good way.

It means that I'm officially-unofficially done with law school. Now I just get to wait until grades get submitted and I find out when I can pick up my J.D.

I'm thinking of moving the K1 (on the left) to the K-nano's currently location (on the right), and then putting the K-nano in the middle of the back wall.

So, it would go K2 (pointing forward and right), K-nano (pointing straight forward), and K1 pointing forward.

Thoughts?

ok so far from the past few pages I've learned that guns and Jack are good together, farting breaks skimmer, MJ baths in vinegar, DH has issues that Weetie doesnt understand and sniffing allergy meds will get rid of heart worms. Did I miss anything?

Well, I just began my new daily regiment of waterboarding myself.


I don't see what the big deal is.

So, I was out running some errands and shopping while on my way to the LFS to check out my skimmer. While I was on my way, the skimmer toppled over and I heard "crack."




Can it be fixed with super glue? May some of the weld-on stuff I've heard about?

Don't know the sizes but some kind of pvc reducer fitting and pvc cement?

That seems like it could get complicated, because I'd have to come up with a way to secure the pump to it, and then I'd have a PVC cement mess on the body of the skimmer. Not sure if that would effect operations.

I might just have to make a trip to lowes for either some super glue or the weld-on, if that's what it takes.

Already thought of that. However, I think that the adhesive might not like my corals. I don't want to make the adhesive mad.

as long as there isnt too much pressure super glue should fix it if you use enough. Make sure you have a solid bead all the way around then once it is glued together then just slather it on the outside all over the crack. If that doesnt work then Ebay can fix your problem lol.
