One of the terrible parts of my job is I have to go out of town at times to places like the Florida Keys. smile.gif...

I am in a great mood and felt like running a good deal on the last of the summer algae:

From now until Sunday morning ReefCleaners.org will be doing buy one get one algae for any order with the word "buy one get one". The free algae will be selected by John for being of the highest quality for its species. All nice pieces. Really nice, end of summer pieces on all the free items.

Plus, if you order on Saturday, take advantage of the code "gonetothekeys" for 30% off your order.

The Catches:

BOGO algae expires Sunday Aug 23 at noon EST.
30% off expires Saturday August 22th at 11:59 EST
We will be in the Keys all day Saturday, and will not be able to respond to emails at that time.
No retroactive application
No rainchecks

Thanks for your time! Don't let the catches put you off, we will have some amazing algae.

how it always goes...surprised not that many took us up on this one. Those who did are getting the nicest products I have ever sold, lots of free stuff too.

Sorry for the delay, busy day smile.gif Here is a pic of it (it was shedding fairly bad in the bag)

mostly dead. email me so I know where to send the credit. the cap was snapped in shipping, , if you cut it one quarter inch below the cap it will bounce back, (or brush off by hand all the needles). The most important part, (the sprout), is nice and sturdy, but the top is definitely broken beyond regrowth, that isn't one of those situations where the needles are being shed naturally etc.. Physical damage basically... I would place it in the back of the tank after snipping, and in a month or so you should get some nice growth come back in, and it will look "brand new", but right now it isnt up to the product description. Shame too, you can tell from the nearby hermit it was a decent size, pencil caps are generally a shorter species.... oh well, at least it is only a plant.

and live rock!
johnmaloney
we might grow live rock soon. I want to keep it in line with the kind of stuff we do, so I think we would stay away from mariculture and grow the rock in tanks so we can control nuisance algae etc.. Probably have one that is coralline rock, (would be nice to mix up the species of coralline too), and one that is covered in macros
