hi all, so i have a bit of a pod culture right now, its just a little gallon tank with lr and filled to the brim with cheato, i have mysis and a few hitchiker pods, my question is can i add amphipods to this culture? will amphipods eat baby mysis? if i harvest half of everything by taking half of the cheato and dunking it into my main tank how long can i expect to wait before i should harvest again?

Are you sure you don't already have amphipods?
Bluesman1
copepods and isopods you will see during the day, but amphipods are much more secretive.

Flip on your light in the middle of the night and watch them all scurry and hide.

yeahs i might already have amphipods but does anybody have lots of mysis and amphipods in thier fuges? thats my main question i guess
Phyto4life
You should be able to have them all together providing you have lots of surface area for them you will need to feed them thou and if you over skim and under feed

your population will remain low
johnmaloney
they compete with each other and eat each other so over time one will tend to dominate. same with the mixed phyto blends...
