Alright. ORA plug cutting done! Those plug stems are big, long, and hard (I know what you dirty minds are thinking)! There is no way a hand held tool would cut them I had to use the dremel. I tried to squeeze the plug with a wrench like someone suggested, and that didn't work at all - ended up chipping some flesh off the frag.
Here they are cut and in the tank

If it's plastic, i bet a PVC pipe cutter would work awesome.
