I am ordering a RKL-L3 along with a MLC module and a couple extra moonlights. I would like to place one moonlight in my nano tank which is approx 25 feet from my main tank and where the controller will be placed. Do you have extension cables or is it even possible to extend this far?

If it's just a standard type power cable, then there shouldn't be an issue. You can always try it out and see. I know the cable to some of the probes are long, so if those are fine at extended lengths and they are for monitoring which can be sensative to length signal deterioration, then one for just power should be fine. Maybe email Digital Aquatics just for definite clarification.

You would want to mount the MLC at the nano and only run a bus cable not the individual POD wires. You can run a bus cable some distance, we sell cables from 1' to 50'.
Hope that helps.

The idea is to have 3 pods on my main display tank and 1 pod on my remote nano. I hate to have to install two MLC modules, one of which would only have a single pod on it.

Ah... That's different... You can extend a POD wire if you chose. I wouldn't run it longer than 25'. Note modifing the POD does void the warranty.
But it can be done.

And I was hoping to win last months prize
Thanks for your input Scott. Quick question, voids the pod warranty or voids the RKL or MLC warranty, I wouldn't want to chance the warranty on the main unit.

Thanks for the heads-up Scott. I do believe I met you at MAX this year, I was with the SCNRS booth. I was very impressed with the RK-Lite we were provided with.

Sorry to hi-jack there, AZ.
