Yeah, it's pricey with them, but I once found another site that sells the internal IR filter cheaper... gotta find it again.

May I know why you choose Sigma 10-22 and not canon 10-22 orTokina 12-24?

Canon was too expensive. Tokina... eh. Basically came down to the great reviews for the Sigma and I know/trust Sigma's quality.

What is FTW?
Sigma is selling about US$100 cheaper as compare to canon here in Singapore.
So still wondering which to get

Sigma over Canon anyday for me
I use to have the sigma for a long time and it was great..for less money you get pretty much identical optics, but with the sigma you gut a MUCH better build, lens hood and a lens pouch..those would cost you another 60bucks or so for the canon. A lens hood on an Ultra wide is a must i think not only for protection but for stray light as it covers such a large field of view.
