LoL ... I have most of the rock cycled as it did come from this same tank before I made my move to Queens, which I did transfer with as much water as I possibly could without breaking my arms trying to carry the containers.

I have never given TOO much thought to my CuC ... but I do want to design something just to keep myself organized.

I got the Brightwells NeoZeo rocks in the reactor last night ... that's all up and running ... Very curious to see the results of using them over the next few months.

Live right by Fishtown ... of course fish ... lol ... Happy little guys too ... got the Blue Sided Fairy this morning ... I love the Yellow Coris ... one of my favorites! Once I introduced the Fairy ... they are constantly swimming together ... one will go off to venture and the other will go looking for them to bring them back to the front. So cute!



Some of the rock is new ... most of it is not (90%) ... it was mine ... Plus the pieces that were mine were basically all the base rock ... so no coralline growth on them ... for the most part.

Don't worry I wouldn't use all NEW rock never cycled and start throwing fishies in.

hehehe ... as I see the Wrasses swimming through all the little caves ... the more I really love the way I did the rock ... I am going to try and grab my LPS ... and see how they do ... hopefully today or sometime this week.

hehehe ... thanks bro!!! The fish are awesome!!! I am really loving the Fairy Wrasses ... The LFS right near me has a few more that look really nice!!! But I can't overstock on these babies ... I still have MY fish in New Jersey that I have to pick up!

There are so many Snowflake Eels over here as well ... 10.99 each ... never had a desire for an eel but they are REALLY REALLY cool!

I love the theme of a wrasse dominated tank! So beautiful. Sigh.

LoL ... Let me know what type of Wrasse you have in mind ... I will keep a watchful eye over at Fishtown ... right now ... they have a couple more of the Yellow Flanked Fairies (kinda big imo ... I got the smallest they had) ... they have the Carpenters which are always pretty ... I forget the names of the others ... but they have some cool ones.

I think you've ruined me for the smaller, less expensive wrasses.

Carpenters are always pretty, but I'm sure I'd need a screen over the top of tank first.

Absolutely ... I forgot about that ... You will definitely need a screen ... Wrasses spook easily (from my experiences) and always try to make it out of the tank rather then retreating to the rocks! lol. You still have that glass top right?

THe carpenters rock ... I am thinking of picking one up for myself ... beautiful bright red!!! Up to you ... plus I have my reservations on the Wrasse idea since you got that Six line ... mine was a nasty bugger ... looked nice and all ... BUT ... once a new Wrasse was introduced ... 3 days he would pick on it ... BADLY ... didn't kill any of them ... but he was mean!!!

In a pinch, I do still have the gas top, but I think my temps would go too high.

My six line is a super sweetie--but also why I've been drawn to the bigger wrasses. I'm not sure he would stay a sweetie if there was a delicate wrasse in there with him. Hmmm, think, think, think...

Hmmmmmm ... the temps may go up ... I am running the MH with the glass over it ... I don't seem to have any problems ... at least right now ... lol.

I haven't seen a delicate wrasse besides the Leopards ... they are all tough as nails ... heck my Yellow FLanked was flappin' all over the floor when he decided to jump out of the net when I tried to get him into the tank! Today he is just fine ... like nothing ever happened.

OMG! LOL, picturing the flapping yellow.

Too many fish that I love...So many options, too few gallons.

You have to come here ... they have really made a turn around since the first time I had gone there ... about a year ago as well.

Sounds like things are really starting to take off with the new setup. I know it's going to look fantastic with the previous livestock you have and what you've added already.

Yeah I need to stop buying the Wrasses and just go all out for a pair of Flames ... I also like the idea of a trio (1 male, two females). My friend in Jersey gets them for a VERY VERY good price ... so it's not going to cost me an arm and a leg for them. Only reason I am thinking of doing them.

I also have a piece of Montipora Peltiformis I got from my girlfriend ... Green based ... I LOVE the growth pattern of these things ... even more than the Monti Caps.

HELP ME DECIDE!!! lol please ... I won't be adding these for a while (that's what I always say ... I would like to do a pair or a trio)
