Update!

New baby Powder Blue Tang!!!

I have been eyeing this little beauty for over a month now at the LFS ... he looked kinda thin when I first saw him ... but every time I went in he was still there ... while the larger ones either sold or started to deteriorate ... he was eating everything from mysis to big sheets of nori. He was getting fatter each time I went. So last night I decided to bring him home!!! YAY!!!

Yeah ... I can't wait for him to stop moving long enough to get a clear shot ... lol ... He is only 2-2 1/2" at most ... He is really small compared to most of the Powder Blues I have seen (and not emaciated).

Congrats on the new PBT....that's long been one of my favorite fish. Must be nice having a tank large enough for one

I have always been very fond of the PBT since I was a kid ... never kept one until taking a stab at one sometime last year when I had my 90G up and running ... the fish unfortunately succumbed to some disease ... although it was eating right up until the point it died. Fingers crossed on this one ... the fish is very healthy ... has no competition for food other then the Wrasses ... which he seems to have no problem shoving out of his way. So we will see!

My rocks ... slightly ... one rock managed to slip up from the others last night ... had to redo it a bit ... I kept the same shape ... just slightly different.

Micron filter sock ... will do ... actually I have one sitting in my "fish box" right now! SWEET!!!

Do you use any bleach, or just warm water? How long do you let them dry afterward?

I think I need to do something about mine. I tried rinsing them in the sink, but that seemed to only help for a couple of days.

Getting a GIGANTIC Orange Monti cap tonight ... found someone that needs it out of their tank ... and for the price I am paying ... WELL worth it! It will fill in the tank nicely!

Tank really looks fantastic!!! Really like all of the mini-SPS colonies that you have in there. Looks like you still have plenty of space for new additions and for growth.

The only suggestion that I have, and this is personal preference, is to throw either a black or dark blue background on the back of the tank. Really just makes those beautiful pieces POP and gives the tank contrast.

Besides that, you have an amazing reef in the making.
