the lfs had some chalices too, found a new lfs, pretty stoked but it was midnight i was tired so i jus got the flagfin and came home

I get my vortech back tonight ... and the new light fixture ... I have been running a single 150W that goes on the g/f's 50G cube ... lmao! 24" fixture on a 48" tank ... what was I thinking?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

This Blue Spotted Jawfish has to be the funniest fish ever ... ONLY comes out when the g/f approached the tank ... he sees me and hides ... I had her feed the tank ... He came OUT of his damn hole and waited ... me ... it's more like ... GFY ... lol

Absolutely!!! I know a lot of people rag on Fishtown ... but there quality has gone up tremendously! Plus fish are cheap ... so I never really saw where people's complaints were.

I need a new fish!!!!!! I am jealous, as always.

It's a Coralife Aqualight Pro ... 2x 250W MH (Phoenix 14k Bulbs) and 2x 96w PC for actinic and my viewing pleasures at night ... lol. Maybe later on I may switch to some custom leds a friend has built ... fully tested and running over his SPS tanks ... or an ATI T-5 unit. Not sure yet as to which one!

HAHAHAHAHA ... Thanks. Well the tank was all set up previously in my old place ... then had to break it down and move it to the new place. However when I FIRST got this tank it was kinda gross ... algae all over ... etc.etc. but it cleaned up nicely.

Checked all acros ... no red bugs ... weird ... I mean I checked everything.

Maybe it's something where your system is keeping them in check below detectable levels, but the stress of a transfer is letting them run amok? Sort of like bacteria and an immune system I suppose.

or maybe the redbugs didnt get onto his corals.
i noticed that when i had redbugs they only stayed on specific corals for the whole duration of the infection.

This is an interesting theory. Sort of like the theory that ich is always present but a stressed fish allows it to take hold.

Precisely! This is an area I know a bit about, because my doc has previously told me that I'm a carrier for strep. I rarely get sick, but if I do, it's strep. I've always got the bumps, and apparently it's always in my system. However, I can't give it to someone else, unless I've got symptoms. The only time I get symptoms is if I do something stupid, like not getting sleep plus staying outside for long hours in cold weather while under-dressed.

Possibility ... but I have checked and rechecked ... lol ... in either case ...

I got a pair of Wrasses ... Rose band Fairy Wrasse ... Cirrhilabrus roseafascia ... one is a small female the other a terminal male ... I have actually never heard too much about these wrasses ... but they have been sitting at Fishtown for roughly a month and a half now ... I am shocked no one had purchased them by this point.
Yesterday was a bit of a scare ... the new female got OVERLY excited when I fed the tank and shot out the tiniest slit in the back of the glass cover ... I saw her fly up out ... and right onto the floor ... SPLAT! ... Of course I rushed to the back ... picked up the fish ... called the g/f over to open the glass ... put the fish in ... she was swimming in all cray directions ... looking rather poor. She got stuck to a Koralia then finally got off of it ... sat up in the corner of the tank for another 30 minutes ... then finally when the lights went off she went into the rocks. This morning I go to check the tank to make sure she was still alive (it didn't look too good last night) hand in hand she was with the male, acting as if nothing ever happened.
