Good luck. +1 to heliofungia being more delicate than normal.

Very bold of you.
Heliofungia is known for not recovering well from physical injuries. Watch for brown jelly, and be ready to dip. Also, make sure to feed whatever parts can eat.
I'm very curious to see how this turns out.

Some iodine dips took place in the begining.I target feed KZ zeofood and tropic marine zooplancton. havn`t tried to feed frozen food.till now.I ll post some pics on monday.I gave 2 parts of the coral to a friend.I see reactions from all frags to food, light and water movement. The mouth is opening and eats like a pig.I ll keep this updated.

I don't like fragging plates. From what I've seen, they grow back all picasso like.

Its like fragging a hard mushrooms except it takes years instead of weeks to round out again.

I suppose. I'd really rather get ahold of one of the plate producing stalks. I want my tank to look like a kitchen sink, like herpers.

There was a guy fragging plats a while back. I wonder what happened to that...
Hopefully yours makes it, just try to keep them happy lol.

I have a orange ausie tongue coral that I want to try but am real nervous. My friend fraged his plate and in 3 months it was rounded out. He cut it into a grid kinda like eggcrate and has no problems

if you use a wet tile saw it works better less stress on the coral
