Full Version: Fragging a Yellow Toadstool Leather in Tank

I've got a toadstool leather that has reach a large enough size now that I feel the need to trim it back pretty severely. The thing is the way it's attached to a centerpiece rock would make it very difficult to remove from the tank for fragging. I've seen some people say that in tank is okay with carbon and water change but I want to hear it from the experts I trust if they thing this is dangerous or not for the other inhabitant of the tank.

So is this dangerous for the fish and other corals? How would you suggest I do this or is it too dangerous without removing?

It is shadowing several mushrooms and is just too large for what I want. This is a 28g JBJ NanoCube. It's been up for I think 2.5 years and is very stable.

Thanks,
Dustin
