Any Updates?????

I love this tank!!!

This is exactly how I want to set up my 125 gallon. With TONS of nano gobies, anemone crabs, shrimp, and other exotic inverts.

Thanks but no real updates. I've added a few things and sold a few too but I haven't given any updates because the tank looks like a disaster right now. I have stuff everywhere but once I get my other cube set up I will get it cleaned up and update with lots of pics.
I'm going to have to give your threads a peak tonight.

Beautiful tank. I'm another big fan of gobies and inverts. I love your stocking choices. I didn't see a list anywhere, how many fish do you have now?

Thanks At the moment I have a True Perc Clown, Snowflake Clown, Sixline Wrasse(only got this guy to help with flat worms), Tailspot Blenny, Tiger Goby, Antenna Goby, Rock Cleaner Shrimp, Purple Porcelain Crab, a mated pair of Pom Pom crabs, Orange Coral Hermit Crab, couple Scarlet Hermits, Halloween Hermit, few other misc small hermits and some snails. I unfortunately lost quite a bit of my fish. I have no idea why either and no bodies to found anywhere. I had a mantis or pistol in the tank which could explain the losses because as soon as I isolated the rock where the clicking came from and moved it to my sump the deaths stopped.
One goby I really want is the flaming prawn like in your avatar. Such a beautiful fish!

Very nice! I'm sorry to hear about the losses. The story about the magically reappearing neon goby was so cool, I'm sad to hear they're gone. Glad you found and banished the suspect.

(And of course, I recommend the flaming prawn gobies if you can get ahold of them. They can be very secretive, but they're very entertaining. And beautiful. Don't know how they'd do with larger, aggressive fish like a sixline though.)

Made me sad as well. It was so nice to see them together. I also forgot to add I have a yellow neon goby in the tank. I have a 35g that I'm setting up and will transfer the tiniest inhabitants to that tank and keep the sixline and clowns in this current one. I also have(hopefully) a Gum Drop Coral Croucher on order. Hopefully I'll be able to find a flaming prawn sometime after I get the other tank going.

Looooonnnnng time no update so here's a little one with lots of pics. I've taken out all the old sand, added new stuff, taken out all the old live rock which was covered in various algae and added new stuff. The tank is still not looking the way I want but for now I'll settle with it. I sold the other cube that I was going to set up and am now setting up a standard 20g that I had laying around. The 20g will be home to my two newest darlings, Yin & Yang the Spotcinctus clowns :mrgreen: I fell in love as soon as I laid eyes on them and just HAD to have them so I used some of the money I had saved which was destined for a red carpet anemone . So anyways, here's some pics.

What species of shrimp is that? Does it harm your corals?

I believe it's Urocaridella sp.. It's a small type of nano cleaner shrimp. I've also seen it called a rock cleaner shrimp. Doesn't hurt corals at all.

Nice! There is a species that looks similar that isn't reef-safe.

Really, I had no idea. Thank goodness it isn't that one. If you happen to find out which species that is I'd love to know for future reference.
