Actually your word was capable not compatible. 10 days ago you posted on the support forum in response to someone saying they heard that online capability for the RKL was in the works. The reply was...

When Apple decided to sell music on iTunes with DRM and said they were always going to do so then one day decided not to did you go on their message boards and flame them? Quit being a douche. Products are always going to evolve based on demand.

I think you're splitting hairs... It wasn't my intention to mislead anyone. At the time of the post it was not possible, period. Now it is and for those that want it they will be able to use it. smile.gif

Thank you,

Love the RKL! Bought it at Reefapalooza. Best $100 bucks spent. Great to know that I have the option for the NET. Not necessary for me right now, but still cool to know I can add it. Looking to add the SL2 and probes soon. Great Job.

I have already ordered my RKL level 3. I can't wait to get it in. It took me a week of reading and researching to pick the RKL. I would also like to say Digital Aquatics has a nice Site layout design.

Thank you for the business! Also if you like the site now, just wait for what we're rolling out in a week or so!

Thanks,

Has anyone had issues with the wave makers set on very frequent motion?

I have my setup on 5 and 3seconds and noticed that either 1 pump stays on the whole time (for a couple cycles in a row) when it shouldn't be on. I also had them running on 1second-2second intervals and they both stayed on.
Digital Aquatics
It sounds like they are small pumps with poor power factor on channel 2 and/or 3. You'll need to move the offending pumps to channel 1 or 4.

Exactly what i was going to say. Constructive criticism for you guys at DA would be to be more clear on the channel difference on the PC4. On that note everything is fairly confusing for newcomers to your products, you kinda have to learn a whole new "digital aquatic language". I love your product not so much the learning curve so to speak. smile.gif

Our new manual (for the latest update) is much more clear and when we release the updated manuals for some of the modules that will be the case also.

@NanoReefNovice - I will say if you read the manual, your one of the few! smile.gif We get calls and emails all day long about things that are clearly laid out there. LOL...

Digital Aquatics
@xcode - make sure you read the new one not the old one.

I ordered the RKL Net and cant wait till it ships! Any word on when it will be heading out? I thought it might have been around the 22nd but I bet youve got alot of orders.
Digital Aquatics
We expect to be shipped up to date by tomorrow! The RKL (NET) has been a popular system! They are going out in the order they came in so if you don't have a tracking number on our store, I would expect one today or tomorrow.

Thank you for your order!

You guys should make an ipod touch/iphone app that will allow access to the net module the way you can access it through the internet. Just an idea.

My only problem now is figuring out which to get... Should I just call you guys at Digital Aquatics.

Your website is beautiful, great layout but I can't figure out what the basic does vs the RKL plus (which is almost 3 times the price).

Does the basic just do readouts vs. controlling levels?

Or does it just do say PH or Temp vs. doing all 5 or 6 things?

I've asked this on several different threads and have never gotten a good answer.

I'll keep reading too to see if I can find more info.

Thanks,

Bill

They have the same head unit, but the step-up kits have more modules included, the $280 has 2 PC4's (powerstrips) amd the SL1 module (pH, ORP), the NET adds the NET module to that. The basic kit can get you a few things depending how you set it up, temp control, lighting control, wavemaking, or a possible combo of that.

It's now worth noting that myReef 2.0 is in beta and this will be compatible with the $99.99 RKL system.

I have been watching for a while and all the RKL stuff is out of stock.. has been each time i looked. did i just miss it being in stock or will it come back into stock anytime soon?
Joe1690

Degener8
where did you order from every time i look at their site it sayd out of stock.
Digital Aquatics
RKL systems are coming back in stock here and at dealers over the next couple weeks. We had higher than expected demand and have had to up production. Count on seeing them soon with your local retailer!

My LED array is done and kicking but .I have the RKL on its way. Money in hand, I go to order the ALC and its smurfing out of stock.

How long are you planning to run this special? I'm considering a RKL right now, but they're out of stock. Any estimates as to when they return and if they'll still be on special when they do?
Digital Aquatics
Stock on RKLs should be here in a couple days. Dealers will start getting their shipments and we should have them on our site a week after that! The $99.99 special "should" be active until the end of the year.

Tell me about it!!! smile.gif

Things are coming around now on this and all dealers should be getting systems in!

Hi Scott

I see, that they're now available through a lot of your stockist, any estimate as to when they'll be available through the DA online shop? Thanks

Steve
opy01
Just order it from Petstore.com. Free shipping FTW! DA makes sure all thier vendors are stocked up before adding to thier store. The warranty is the same and DA treats you like you bought it directly from them if you have problems.
StevenAnderson
Thanks opy01, had a look and it so annoying that for international first time buyers, they want copies of your credit card and ID with matching addresses, talk about serious admin, lol. Well if DA doesn't add it soon i think I'll just have to do it wink.gif

Thanks again

Depending on what you mean by international, you may not be able to buy from DA directly. We service US and Canada. All other orders are directed to a number of online vendors.

As far as stock, we shipped ALL the new stock we got in and are ramping up the second batch over the next couple weeks.

Systems are starting to ship again! You should be able to order online or check with either your local fish store or favorite online dealer this coming week!
