rainbowish ric

Spiderman 2 morphs

idk but they are cool

ID?

duster

leathers

baby sun coral from nanocube

shy firefish

FTS

I may actually keep the firefish... in the nanocube he and the YCG were almost unseperable... the YCG is now trying to coax the firefish out from his cave... he come out when i am far from the tank but darts back in the cave when i approach.
also i was gone this weekend... and the cyano decided to cover only my pink hornets... killling most of them

Mine gets pissed because I know more than the owner and don't buy dead stuff. A friend of mine worked there and told me, then he quit because he hated them. Yakima sux...
Nanobuds
Sep 22 2009, 08:43 PM
my LFS only sells me good stuff... when i went to buy a banggai for my nano back in february, i wanted this bigger one but the owner, mark, said that it wasnt eating that much. so i bought the very small, 1inch one. then i went back a few days later for a water test, and the cardinal i was gonna buy was dead.
Jacobnano
Sep 22 2009, 08:45 PM
Thats really cool, sounds like the owner respects you and knows what he is doing. You should work there fo sho. Make great money, unless you spend it all on coral lol.
The only problem is you have to sell stuff, even a tang to a 10g owner
Nanobuds
Sep 22 2009, 08:47 PM
yeah... Mark told me that even after warning the person, she went all nemo for her 30 gallon...
a spiney puffer, yellow tang, hippoe tang, 2 clowns, a red lilinka star, cleaner shrimp, blue damsel, royal gramma, all in her week old tank with blue gravel and fake plants
Jacobnano
Sep 22 2009, 08:49 PM
Ya that is depressing. I would just refuse service but selling to them keep the business in business.

Sep 22 2009, 09:03 PM

Sep 27 2009, 04:28 PM
dude this forum in general really seems to be pushing the possibilities of fish for a pico. First it was no fish under 5g then ii was small gobie, then damsel, then firefish and now sixline wrasse. Whats next, yellow tangs?
Toothpik
Sep 27 2009, 05:01 PM
lol i wouldnt put it past anyone for trying...but that would be stupid to put a yellow tang in a 3 gallon >_> its like as big as the tank haha
Jerfrog
Sep 27 2009, 05:07 PM
hes saying that putting a six-line wrasse in a pico is a bad idea. Which i agree with. They get about 3+ inches and can get aggressive. They swim around a lot and need the space for it. I think wrasses shouldnt go in anything under 24g's.
Toothpik
Sep 27 2009, 05:12 PM
eh alright..ill go with a yellow tailed damsel
N0FX_J0E
Sep 27 2009, 05:28 PM

I wanna try a royal gramma though. or perhaps psuedochromis.
Toothpik

Toothpik
Sep 27 2009, 08:32 PM

Nanobuds
Sep 27 2009, 08:38 PM
last weekend... got back from my lakehouse and it was everywhere... couldnt see any corals that were in the sandbed. i quickley added some Chemie-Clean and dissasembled my Nanocube's ATO and put in the maxijet from it. then i did a FW dip to all my affected zoas... most of the cyano is gone. still some spots here and there. the zoas i lost were some dragon eyes, my really cool pink hornets (had 3 that looked like the first one i posted) and 1 watermelon zoa polyp.
Toothpik
Sep 27 2009, 09:28 PM
