Steve, could you be a doll and resize the pics (smaller) before uploading them? Takes forever and a day to load them, and my work computer can't even handle it.

No more lenses yet. I am pretty happy with the two. I will pick up a macro down the road but I have to control all non business spending at the moment. That house is only a weeks away.
The 50-250mm is a canon, ran $300

P mode
Kept it on ISO 400 almost entire time
Shot HD movie of flyover (F-18 qty 2)
It was a nice sunny day so ISO 400 seemed to work out. Any suggestions for next time?

Looked at the properties
some are
1/640 sec
1/500 sec
1/800 sec
closer in proximity to my camera 1/1000 sec

cool, P mode chooses that for you on a canon. You can jump it around with the scroll but with action shots that is hard.

Nice work on finally pulling the trigger (I have been away for a while)! I just bought a new 50mm prime lens for my camera today.
Dell is having a sale on them today. You should consider it also, some reviews put it at or near the sharpness of an L series lens which cost 15x more.
