I just found a stomatella in my tank this past weekend. It is pretty big so I dont know how long its been in there or where it even came from but I have only seen it once. Those things are awesome though lol.

the halide seems okay were its at, but i may adjust it some moar.
the temps stay between 78-80, depending on how the heater feels at the time.

im just worried about bleaching.... 8" seems too far, 6 is okay fer now.

have you been to some place fun before? i think it was in galt or lodi. the place was monstrous.. lots of huge slides, rides, indoor basketball, tvs, video games and other stuff for older kids too. we were going to host it there but it shut its doors like last year.

Wow, that's pretty crappy that they charge you. I've only had my LFS test my water once, and that was because I suspected a bad kit. However, I'm a bit of a regular at this LFS, and they know I'll usually pick something up, even if that something is usually just a $5 or $10 frag.

Good job on showing them up, though. That oughta teach'em!

I think that helps with certain LFS. I have a hard time leaving the LFS without buying at least one tiny little frag of something inexpensive.

Well, I plan on working for a non-profit, and student loans suck! I feel bad though, for the folks who didn't have the scholarships that I had. Anyways, I'll be broke for the foreseeable future, even though I'll have my doctorate in January (unless something happens ).

the new polyps you got do better on the sand. when they are pulled from the wild they have sand bits all over em. my buddy had success with them spreading over substrate.

i need to find a location to do it if theres going to be a few ppl. the balcony is a bit cramped.

heres the patient that will undergo surgery. it has 6 mouths, i'll probably do either 3-4 frags depending on the distance between the mouths. from what i've read, they are challenging to keep.
it's not a done deal since i'm getting this coral in a trade. it's pending until we confirm this weekend.

Love the tank man. When I put a frag rack up in mine, my YCG immediately starting treating it like a perching buffet. He sleeps in a small Ponape nest frag every night up there too :-p.
