Nitrates suck! Mine were at almost 80 at one point. I can keep then between 10-20 now thanks to my skimmer, fuge and Kents Pro-Amonia Detox lol. I can tell you spend time on those photos as good as they look. Mine are easy to upload though, I host them out of my house lol. (maybe that why they dont show up half the time )

ive never even got a FW tank to go that high in nitrates!

edit: my nitrate 'spike' is because of the heavy fish bioload in the new tank. it'll go back down to zero soon. i suppose that you could call it the tail end of the mini-cycle.

Yea I overfed for a bit before I noticed (me=idiot). Nothing died but I had a horrible ciano outbreak. The average was 40 but it topped off at 80. Thats when I got the Pro-Amonia Detox and started weekly water changes. That was a while ago now and it's been at about 10-20 ever since.

lol np man im so confused if i should just get the 2x24w or a 4 bulb. i love the way sps looks. but then again its like "here i am again with another hobby getting carried away" blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. i love the way ur tank is looking. how long have u kept the sps with the 2 x 24?

buy the 4 bulb and save urself the upgrade...(believe me, you'll upgrade.)

It's an uncommonly practiced area of law, but I'm going into state and federal constitutional litigation. Primarily, limiting extra-constitutional state and local action and defending constitutional rights. I'll be getting my J.D. in January, and hopefully getting my license in June.

Hahah no, not quite that. It's two different types of litigation. The first is attempting to prevent state and local governments from violating the state constitution (ie the state constitution says government may not lend money to any individual, so I would be involved in fighting anything that has the effect of lending money to an individual). The second is attempting to prevent any government body from violating an individuals' constitutional rights.
