just bought a larger female ocellaris clown....


She was super aggressive in the stores tank, and is quite obviously a female.

During acclimation (bag float method), 'salespitch' was totally interested in the new clown. almost as though he had been waiting for her.... when i released her into the tank they both swam to opposite corners, but have been inseperable ever since..... sales' hasnt left her side and just started submitting to her....as he is an impressively built and colored male, i expect her to fully accept his courtship.

we'll see.....

sooo....ive decided to name the new Gurly in town, "CRUELLA".....

she's a mean lil' beezy, but in a wierdo fish-love kinda way. she refuses to let 'SP' in any of the caves. as soon as he tries to enter one, she'll swim into it and shove him out. almost like she's teaching him how to protect the cave (instead of hide in it!) *tahnk jeebus on dat one..... (he even stands up to me now!)

and she showed him how to host, it was cute.

oh yeah, my favorite part of this whole courtship process is watching her push him around the tank.
