OP, post the pics you sent in the first e-mail. Sounds like many people have received non-insulated packages, but depending on the coral that may not be a huge deal. I have received several non-insulated packages and everything in them turned out fine.

Some of these things dont add up:
1) Mrcoral, you should really be trying to please your current customer instead of trying to prove him wrong on the boards.
2) OP, you said that after the search for "mrcoral" you got 14 emails, but you only posted 13, why?
3) Mr. Coral, I am sure everyone appreciates you giving free corals, and if I had a running tank I would to, but in reality, you would make sure the packaging is perfect I'm sure. If you made one slip up, you need to acknowledge that and refund him the money.
4) OP, you waited a year to post this
5) OP, what actually happened, the UPS delivery boy dropping it, or bad packaging?

I will post a picture of the box later but I don't think it was a repackage. Still doesn't mean that I want store credit. I told you that I wanted a refund. Why did it take them so long to deny the claim if it only takes them 5 days to complete the claim request.
Edit: I was waiting for him to get back to me with the status of the ups claim thus giving him the benefit of the doubt. that's all

actually i was going to suggest the repacking
i still don't get why this is a big deal 11 months later, the OP knew mr. c had a phone number, and a paypal dispute would have also been a must, but no word of that. he also keeps saying he will post the emails or the picture you have?

Actually it's not.
I work in logistics day and night. UPS will repack a box that comes in damaged. They use brown boxes with clear tape. We get a lot of heavy parts in from sweden daily, our warehouse there ships in crappy boxes sometimes. So if a part is sticking out UPS will repack it in one of their thin brown boxes. They don't leave a note telling you they did it.
But you can tell since they cut out the thermal label with a razor blade. Then tape it to the new box. If there is a different box material behind the thermal it is a dead giveaway.
I actually think this is what may have happened. If so UPS should have approved this claim for sure, but they would have to be told of this repacking for proof.

Guys, remember, if you ever get in a shipment that has a problem, grab a camera ASAP and take lots of pics to back up your claims ALWAYS.

I'm not at my place at the moment so I can't get a picture of the box. tomorrow or the following day depending on when I get back home.
I will get a clear picture of the box label to show if it was a scrape and tape or not but I don't think it is.
all I wanted was a refund. simple as that.

When you are bashing someone on a Public forum I'm not going to be calm. What you needed to do was to pick up the phone and call us. How many times did we ask you to call us? After UPS Denied the Claim we were going to still work with you and you never emailed us or called us!! WHY????? Then post this crap after a year? This was a Ebay Purchase in the last year i have Positive Feedback (last 12 months): 99.2%. Do you really think I get that for shipping a coral like that? The answer is No. I'm going to bed. I myself would not want to call if I had the feeling that it was only going to be an unproductive ass chewing on the other party's part.
Either way, how is an email that much different than a phone call? It says nowhere on your site that you aren't responsible for mishandling, only that it has to be delivered on time. You have never answered exactly why you never issued a refund. I would also like to know why you totally ignored his BBB request.
Fish02 stated that his is out of town this weekend and will post pics as soon as he gets home. I can also verify this and I know he isn't posting from his usual (home) IP address because he isn't there.

Aaron, the clam is in but it can take a little time. I never saw any Pics do you have them to send? You have to understand that I can't be held liable for UPS playing football with your package as stated in my Ebay auctions. I can only work with you on the claim and get you your money back.

I don't see how a phone call is any better than an email in this case, and as I said with your behavior in this thread I do not think you would be a good person to deal with on the phone. I know nothing more than has been stated in this thread, and I stated in my first post in this thread that I knew him and was somewhat aware of what was going on.

Yea I dont understand why the phone call is so important.
What kind of extra information would a phone call get? Is it just to get into his head? What couldnt be handled in a exchange of emails?

Look at the last 1972+++ feedback in the last 12 months is that enough? Why would you take this guy word for it and decide not to order from one bad shipment? Look at the whole picture!! I tried to work with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He did not email me or call me!!!! I know in my world I would email someone or pick up the phone. He used to come into the store few times a Month we had a nice relationship this is a shocker to me how is is acting not emailing me or calling. Again, if you feel like I ship that way I would never order from us!!! Just not sure how we stay in business shipping that way.

that's what i would have done as well. in fact, that's what i have done in the past. i refunded a guy the money he paid me for some frags even though he never could send me a pic of dead corals. after going round and round with him in a PM cyclone i just said screw it and cut my losses. it really wasn't worth it to me. unfortunately, that is also why i don't sell frags on here anymore.

at this point its 2 late 2 fix anything...$200 retail for OP was prob like $50-$75 wholesale to mr. coral all this over $50-$75 come on mr. c?...the fact that a you would argue in public with a customer would lead me not 2 order from you...or take you seriously for that matter thats why everyone is clowning this thread...

I call it the eBay syndrome.
Ever order something on eBay and its not exactly what was advertised? So you leave appropriate feed back and the seller tries to make it look like the buyer is the stupid one. Pretty childish if you ask me.
I was shopping at mrcoral.com and was considering some stuff. I don't think I want eBay-like support.

Mr. Coral. As a total noob, ordering LIVE animals through the mail is a scary idea. Expensive animals at that. Kind of a trust thing I guess. You have created some doubt in me. The way you are handling this is this public way.
Just wanted to give the noob sideline outlook of this situation for what its worth.
