they're so expensive because less than 1% of the babies that snowflakes make actually turn out to be snowflakes...same goes for picassos but picassos have a better hatch rate. picassos go for 300 dollars less tho...about 500 but snowflakes have wayy better white coverage.

yeah but the lfs around here don't sell them for near that much and they come from ORA as well just seems like a high mark up

There are 2 different fish being talked about here. This thread is about SNOWFLAKES (A. ocellaris) and NOT Picasso's (A. percula).
We also have Picasso's in stock, but this thread is about selling a pair of ORA Snowflake Clowns. The price for them is steep and not everyone can afford them. Less than 20 have been released by ORA this year. Extremely rare fish.

Snowflakes are pretty rare, and only 20?? wow!! $800 did seem steep (I know I've heard/seen them offered for less) but if there's only 20 so far this year, then the price seems fair. Gotta pay to play we have to remember.

Any full on side pics, Reefers?

Im not a mod but I'm pretty sure people are not allowed to argue/dispute prices. I've bought Rod's Onyx Clowns for them and they came in great. Don't need to worry about ordering from them
