Also, I'm really not a fan of wild-caught fish or corals. It's not quite a pet peeve, but I'm sure it will be someday. Bravo to those of you who support the captive-bred shops.

People who ask "white bread" (ie answered >1000 times before) questions, and then assume that they have the same relevance as a newer (and inevitably more challenging) question posed by a more experienced reefer.

Refrac snobs.
"You must by a refractometer b/c hydrometers will kill your tank and knock-up your daughter!"
Hydros (except for Deep Six brand) are generally fine.
Funny but I will respectfully disagree. I had 2 Instant Ocean Hydrometers and they were off by over .005 when I checked them against my refractometer. While some Hydrometers may be better than others I would recommend a refractometer.
I get annoyed when people charge crazy prices for zoas. I give most of mine away to people. This hobby is already too expensive so why not work to help each other out?

Not uncommon but if you calibrate them against a properly calibrated refractometer they will be accurate forever... Unlike a refractometer.
I've dropped one of my IO hydros on concrete, resulting in bits broken off the spout and it still reads true. Do that to a refractometer and the least amount of damage will be a de-calibration. Of course, you wouldn't want to drop a floating glass hydro...
I will say it time and again:
You don't need to own a refractometer to consistently and accurately mix up SW. Check your hydro once when you buy it and never worry about it again.

I use a hyrdo to mix saltwater, refract to test my tanks. Honestly, I cant read my refract with much accuracy, too hard to tell where the line is. Apparently close enough is close enough though, lol. I agree Fosi, consistancy seems to be more important, I reefed with a hydro for a long time.

I hate reef snobs.
A reef snob is a guy that spends $1,500 on a skimmer and only buys and sells $200+ frags.
I also hate when people in local reef clubs are in "clicks". We had a big problem here in Dallas Fort Worth and a new club emerged made up by the people who are sick and tired of the "clicks"
I also hate the stupid fancy names and ridiculous prices of fancy zoas and chalices. I wont spend more than $20 for a frag.
I also second the annoying leg humpers that post a billion times in a girls thread. Like she is gonna come meet you and give you a BJ or something if you talk to her online. Its annoying.
