Glad everyone is getting their parts. All the LED, lens, driver, and Pico Lamp orders have shipped. This was almost 70 orders (over 1600 LEDs, 138 drivers, 1200 lenses, and 15 Pico Lamps). Thanks everyone for your patience.

Now that these are out of the way, I can focus on the Sunpod Actinics and the Satellite fixtures. I just ask that everyone stays patient with me for a little while longer.

Things are moving. The end of the month ship date I posted earlier was far too optimistic. Things are moving forward, but it still looks like a few weeks.

Evil, next time charge a small handling fee per order, lol. Make it worth your time and effort. You're being too nice here.

It's no secret that I'm making some money on the Pico Lamps, Sunpod Actinics, and the Satellite retros. It's not much. The LEDs, drivers and lenses were all at my cost, and I actually went into the red a little on those as I underestimated the Paypal and shipping fees. Don't anyone worry about that though. What's done is done. It just bit into what little profit I was making on the other parts. Live and learn.

Anyway, still trudging forward with everything. I will say that there are some new goodies in the works that you might see once all the GB orders are shipped.

and if anyone has any doubts about underestimating paypal fees and shipping, i modeled my group buy after Evil's and the same thing happened to me! lol and that's what i said too except everything was at cost (my wallet too). live and learn. but either way, i am still very glad you put this GB together and for all of your free giving help you give to everyone.

We all definitely appreciate everything that you have done!!! Thanks for the update...that's all i need to keep me going.

Got my Pico Lamp in and it ROCKS! The new light prompted a bit of re-scaping, so pics will roll around as soon as the dust settles. Worth the wait for sure...Thanks Evil!!

Hey Evil. I'mm just wondering how things are going. I keep forgetting that I even ordered one of the sunpod LEDs then I remember and I'm like "Heck yeah! Is it time yet?"
Got any updates?

As I have been telling some others that have PM'd me, I have been at the mercy of my suppliers. Backorders and promissed ship dates have been killing me. The last of the parts are supposed to be shipping this week, then final assembly will start. Again, I'm sorry for the delays.

When is this gonna happen agian!

Don't worry evil, we have faith in you. Just do what you gotta do. I can wait all summer and fall, just wanted the very best because we as a reefer need to know patience is the key! Lol

I remember him saying earlier in the thread that there were very few flakes. So there may be no extra sunpod actinics. You will probably have to wait for the next GB.

I made a few extra that I will put up for sale only AFTER all the GB orders are shipped. I hope it won't be too much longer.

Alright Evil....it has been 6 days since we have heard from you and that wasn't even much....Please we need updates just to keep us going....i don't care if you are just updating me on your weather outside or you need to take a nap....some pics would even work....in build process, parts by themselves, whatever.....but being patient is tough and without any word for prolonged periods makes it even worse....i didn't want to write anything, i was hoping that just a funny pic would make you say hi and fill us in but instead i got to tell you how we (or most i am sure) feel.....trust me we are all appreciative and plenty patient but the longer it goes to more often we need an "Hey so this is going on...." It just makes it easier for us!

It's about to rain outside....

























J/k. Parts are finally here, with one exception. Starting to get final assembly started. It's a lot of parts, and it's taking some time. Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day of getting things together. I'm still shooting for starting shipping by next weekend. I won't be able to ship everything in one hit, so it will be in batches as I get things put together. It's the epoxy that I pour over the driver that is the long pole in the tent. I don't have a ton of room to set up a lot of the fixtures to get epoxy applied, and I have to wait 30 minutes after mixing before applying so it doesn't run everywhere I don't want it. Then it's 12 hours of cure time (so, overnight). Basically I can get 10 units epoxied per day. At least thats the plan.

I'm glad you guys are itching to get these. Makes me feel good that I've made something that is useful. I'm also glad that you guys have been so patient with me on the delays. Like I mentioned before, I never expected this kind of demand and it's a little overwhelming.

On another note, my house still hasn't been fixed, or even started It's been 10 weeks today since the storm. The contractor was scheduled to start Monday, but rain delays have prevented him from finishing his last few jobs. Maybe next Monday

I heard from him a couple days ago and he said 2 weeks due to the backordered parts. Feel free to PM him - he's very responsive.

Edit: so responsive that he sneaks in a response before me, lol
