j/k I am into hang on the back filters so am behind a bit too. (People aren't using bio balls as much anymore) Anything with flow over surface are will get out ammonia and nitrites, you want something biological to get out the nutrients that fuel nuisance algae. Nitrates and phosphates. A phosban reactor, macro, rubble, etc... 4'' and no more sand bed, etc...

you would get a better response in the general discussion area of the forum I think. I just don't use them, someone there I am sure will tell you to use them. a million different ways and all that. Always free to drop us a line though!
