Mines still kicking. He stayed in the same spot for several months but lately has been moving around looking for a new one. ( I dont have the fancy electric model though)

Ofcourse then again this is the guy who just added a third mandarin to his nano cube so I dont really pay attention to the usual "experts"

I didn't read through more than maybe the first 10 posts so if this has been stated, I'm sorry. From what I understand, they're very cool to have, but not too great in almost any aquarium, nano or otherwise. They will do well however in a large tank that is dirty and has hazy water. That's a large part of why they don't do well in aquariums, is most people like to have clear and clean water which then causes it to starve.

So.....

Should I get one?

get 10 of them srew it they will still look nice 6 months from now......LOL
