it's just bleached. it'll turn green soon enough.

Mar 3 2011, 08:57 PM
Ha, trust me, it's not bleached. It's turned ever so slightly brown in the mate's tank who is minding it while I'm reefless... but nowhere near green.
I got it 'cos it was an oddity and yellow is a must in a ZEO tank. Soon it'll be cut up and sent around the country. And then I can get my ghost white/hot pink rim/purple polyp awesometime Monti to go with it.

n0rk
Mar 3 2011, 09:23 PM
Haha, yeah no. I'm not propping it for sale. I'm giving it to a few reefers who I really respect around the country as an experiment... seeing how far it can be distributed without a single dollar being passed for it

our country has no sense of lineage or preservation, so as opposed to instant satisfaction I want to try and create some good livestock with history.

First, there is a yellow monti, or at least more yellow than green.

Next, it's such a shame when nature doesn't appreciate the finer things in life, like proper color coordination of creatures in my tank. The audacity.
The most popular anemone for the most species of symbionts in the Caribbean is the CurlyCue Anemone, Bartholomea sp. When wanting your little pederson's (Periclemenes sp.), that's the best place to look

And I have seen an 8 year old drunk. It was funny for a few minutes, until she fell down several times, then I got kinda sick and headed home, which was 8000 miles away. Fortunately the next day she had a hangover that may have taught her to never do that again, at least so far it's worked. Different places, different customs.
