Weetabix7
No Christmas Lights= LIES

Militant Jurist
I agree. I was expecting lights... and where there are lights, there are bound to be presents coming shortly. So not only are there a bunch of lies, but there are also no presents. mad.gif

Those going to replace the Par38? Which LEDs are they? We need details man, details!!! tongue.gif
spanko
Why would you go from the PAR38 to this?

inquiring (or is it enquiring, or are both acceptable) minds need to know! huh.gif
AdrianBryce
^ This. And where does one procure an item such as that?
DHaut
Arduino processor with sunrise/sunset coding (expandable), dimmable, 2 more LEDs including a UV LED, all LEDs are Cree (same as PAR38), built in fans, better spread over my tank...need more?

And I acquired it from one Weetabix7. smile.gif
divecj5
Oh, so it's all Weetie's fault smile.gif

Sounds like quite the unit D. Can't wait to see what the tank looks like under it.
DHaut
Yeah, the real challenge is going to be building a canopy that doesn't look ghetto.
Militant Jurist
Don't you know that ghetto is fab? If that doesn't work, try redneck.

Richie is the one on the barstool to the left. Such an enabler. tongue.gif

On a serious note (*gasp*), how much of the filter feeder food do you use at a time? And I guess for that amount to be helpful, knowing your system's total volume might be helpful. tongue.gif
DHaut
a pinch, and usually in the 17g tank. I typically spot feed it onto the filter feeders.

Ok, so I'd need a couple of pinches for the 29. Thanks for the info! I'll probably start feeding it tonight. Do you feed daily/weekly/randomly? I want to get your spectacular PE. happy.gif

Cool beans! I usually turn off my return pump when feeding, so that nothing ends up stuck in the filter sock. I'm guessing I should do the same with the filter feeder food? Would my usual 15 minutes of power-down be enough to circulate the food? I also leave my skimmer off for longer periods than that.
