On a serious note (*gasp*), how much of the filter feeder food do you use at a time? And I guess for that amount to be helpful, knowing your system's total volume might be helpful.

a pinch, and usually in the 17g tank. I typically spot feed it onto the filter feeders.

Ok, so I'd need a couple of pinches for the 29. Thanks for the info! I'll probably start feeding it tonight. Do you feed daily/weekly/randomly? I want to get your spectacular PE.

Cool beans! I usually turn off my return pump when feeding, so that nothing ends up stuck in the filter sock. I'm guessing I should do the same with the filter feeder food? Would my usual 15 minutes of power-down be enough to circulate the food? I also leave my skimmer off for longer periods than that.
