I think what I like most of all is the simplicity of it all. You too often see people try and cram their 40Bs with far too much stuff and the look is just utter turd. It's a refreshing change

Heh, thanks, Ben. I'm a simple gal, so I guess that shows through my tanks.
And yes, the algae is dying off, and quickly! Not sure if electric shock helped with that, because I've only done one small water change on the tank since set-up.

One thing I have noticed..... some of the zoas.... looks like they experienced mini implosions and the color around their mouths exploded outward.


In other news... my central air conditioner died today....

lol, I'm anti-chemical filtration..... There's no need for it. The algae is dying off and should be gone in the next few weeks. The tank only experienced the GHA bloom because it is only a few weeks old.. new tank syndrome!

And your camera probably can do that... you just need to learn how to use it.

Things are looking nice lani. Never would've known you put them all through electroshock therapy.

What figures are you reading after not really touching it? I know when I didn't for a while they maintained around 10 nitrates and nothing else though that was mostly luck...


And exploded Zoas you say? Maybe you can prop them as some crazy name and make a fortune due to them being rare. Call them Lani's Mouth Explosions. Srsly. You'll make like at least $100 per polyp.

I notice though... The colors are still a bit washed out on most of the corals.. and the frogspawn is still small, bounding back though.
