don't you plug it into a socket? At least the one the LFS tried to sell to me was like that, didn't buy it cause i've heard of them actually throwing stray voltage into a tank!

Run carbon and more water changes asap.

I would throw and extra power head in there too until things settle again.

In the past, I've grounded things to water pipes but that doesn't work here.

Tank looks a little better today..... I'm still cautious....

Hopefully it'll make a full recovery it was looking great...

Just watch it closely for the new little while, there's little else you can really do. Hopefully it makes a full recovery sometime soon...

I've been looking at some aussie blasto's on a certain site for a little while now but I'm holding off on any future coral purchases till I get my new 40br drilled filled and cycled. Definately a sweet score though, kudo's.

Sorries I fell off the face of the planet...been pretty busy lately. Weather is starting to get nice here! It is 77F now!!! Hubby and I are runners and so we've been getting back into that after a long, cold winter...we are getting ready to go now. We have a trail by the river/canal in our area...it's the best!

Anywaysss...so sorry to read about the shock therapy...dang that sucks! But I am so glad that things are doing better. Mandy looks amazing and the aussies are super kewwwl!!!! I can't wait to see some more shots...OH and a FTS! Speaking of clams...haha, we were @ Mr.Coral yesterday and he has a ginormous one (like over a foot long or something)...hubby almost got sprayed!!!

I think those blastos are generally more expensive, but a local reefer had a couple of frags for sale at good prices.


I'll try to get a new FTS up tomorrow, and...... new additions today! Went to photograph the tanks of a local reefer and for doing so, they gave me a bunch of new rics.. including some deep purple pretties.
AND, more importantly........ a mini rose BTA... like the really expensive type!
It's going into the 5.5gal tank with the other minis.

Hola Kim, que pasa? As for the reef... nah, I'm sacrificing doing calculations to try and find a cure for cancer and getting rid of my network's main server. That should give me enough power to run the reef at the peak power I was intending (about 500W total) without impacting the rest of the house. Hopefully. The decision to go with an all T5HO unit instead of a mix of 250W halides and T5HO made a big impact on that figure. Should be sometime around August or so I first put water in it, depending how much cash I have to pay back the taxation department...

What about throwing him off Aires Rock, head first.

The wind there takes care of that well enough. When I visited it was blowing like 115kn while we were trying to climb... got forced to go back to the bottom
