Cool new additions. I miss Bob. He was cool.

Benny the blenny has been MIA for the last day or so....
No dried corpse on the floor so either he's hiding (despite being really active the first couple of days) or my cats disposed of the body..
Bob #3 is doing fine though.

Also, halimeda seems to be sucking up a lot of the calcium. Every time I do a water change, the halimeda growth explodes, but the SPS barely has a chance to grow. Going to rip a bunch of the algae out this weekend.

Missing fish suck, especially when you never find out what happened. Always irriated me.

I can't say I have had a fish go missing. Though I fear for the life of my wrasse with the rimless upgrade I am considering.

Lani how long did you wait before switching your livestock to the 40? I think I remember most of the rock and corals were from your other tank, right?

I'm wondering if it's safe to switch it all to my 75 or wait a couple more weeks after it's all together and running.

Umm, as soon as the paint on the stand was finished drying the tank was filled, heated, and the salt was mixed thoroughly. Dumped in the new sand and as soon as the dust settled I transfered everything from the 20H to it.

What do you mean by 'all together and running'? Make sure everything is in place just as it will be as a complete setup before you transfer the livestock..

Since I really only use 4 bulbs (the other two are on for only 2 hours a day.. dusk/dawn), the 4 bulb fixture would have been perfect, but I didn't know that when I was planning.
