I had ripped out a bunch of the halimeda on the ric rock, but it's all popping back up again, yay! Two of the mini nems split a few days ago, the SPS frags are showing good growth, and everything looks pretty swell. I think switching to Oceanic salt is doing the trick.

Just watch those rhizoids.
The thalli are easy to see but they come from rhizoids that were already there and it's those rhizoids that accomplish infestation. They can grow fast and once they get into the rock, it'll be a bummer.

Ya. Most of it is growing in the sand and that would be easy enough to remove, but the strands getting onto the rocks will probably be pulled out soon.

I think I would be inclined to do a 40 long and do some AIO work in both back corners on the diagonal.

Mini nems are splitting like mad. All of them, except for one, (so around 4 of them) split within a couple of days last week. Two of them each split into triplets!
