The two clownfish were fighting... so I caught the one that isn't allowed to host the frogspawn and moved him/her to the 15gal where he/she is going nutso. Guess I'll have to buy two more clownfish and try to make two pairs?

I had tried them before, unsuccessfully, in a smaller tank and wanted to see how they'd do in this larger tank. Wanted to see if they would actually form a school... because if they would, they would be a great option as a schooling fish for nanos.

Currently, the largest mg (masked goby) is MIA, and has been for a couple of days. Down to 5?

i'm going to try a small grouping of eviota's in my top display, and i'm thinking of keeping them with a mated pair of green bandeds. eviota pellucide's are perching gobies, so i don't think they'll school. but they will perch together.

Don't mind me sneaking in your house and stealing your fish tank. By the way, could you pm me with your house address and the next time you're out of town?

I'm lucky that I've got a good cat. She likes to watch the tank, and that's it. With my FW tanks, she just likes to lick the water.

Wish I could say the same. One of my cats can jump over 5 feet. She likes to sleep on the hot PC fixture on the 125.

Yeah, the stand itself is 40 inches tall, plus the height of the tank, and the fixture is raised a good 7 or so inches off the top.... so the kitties don't even attempt it.

Bought some Oceanic salt mix and will slowly switch over from IO to it through water changes. Just curious to see if the corals improve with a different mix.

Have you ran any tests on the water quality of the new mix?

Not yet..... and probably won't, lol.

Yeah, Sealife and I think bluezooaquatics are the only places I've seen them.
My remaining 4 seem to be getting comfortable in the tank, because there is a lot of chasing going on.
Not sure how long that'll last.
