Those Gobies are sweet as. It's nice to see them clumping together biggrin.gif
Lalani
Thanks, guys! I peeked at the tank this morning before I left for work and the jawfish was tucked in next to the ric island and he kinda flinched when I walked up. Looking a lot better today! Let's just hope he doesn't jump. mellow.gif
Lalani
-Fed the tank when I got home and the 7th (largest) goby popped out of the rocks, so all are accounted for. smile.gif
-The jawfish is in the back corner of the tank, taking it easy. Seems to still be have a little trouble, but I think it'll be alright.
-Zoas are opening up!
-Oh, and apparently while I was monitoring one nem taking it's sweet time splitting over a week, I totally missed another one, behind a rock, splitting..... into three! omgomgomg.gif

Super cool new additions, Lani. *thumbs up*
And I'm really glad those Nems are doing so well for you! happy.gif

Let's see how well they do as a group in a tank this size first! I had tried a trio of them in mom's 10gal, but the largest of the three bullied the other two to death within a couple of weeks.. I'm hoping this larger tank/more room and larger group will fare better. fingersx01.gif

oom... well that's no good. Maybe just a solitary one then? The yasha's fine, just needs to start coming out more. blah.

pretty jawfish! smile.gif
Lalani
Thanks, Weets. wub.gif
The nems seem to like this tank and some are acquiring a darker, deeper, coloration... though I haven't really fed them much since they were transferred..
Oh, the SPS pieces are growing quickly again, I notice new growth on all of them, so the dkh must be in a good range. Now I just need to figure out what to do with the hammer and frogspawn... they are the only things not looking great right now. I'll probably frag and move some to the 15gal.

Hmm, ya, I suppose you could try a single masked goby. Got nothing to lose, right? biggrin.gif

I don't know sad.gif . I haven't even seen a fin in two days. I have a tight fitting lid, and I've been checking my desk and floor for dried up fishes, and it has to still be in the tank. There have been some strange occurrences going on involving fish here though. I removed my baby gunnel (yours in a few months, if you want him) from his separation chamber and after a few days he disappeared from the main tank. Weeks later, low and behold, he's back in the separation chamber huh.gif . There's no way he could have gotten in there without jumping over the edge, which is almost an inch above the water. But anyways, I'll stop posting my random fish complaints in your tank thread now. smile.gif

hows the jawfish, make a burrow yet?
Lalani
Nah, not yet. He's still hanging out in the back corner, on top of the sand. I put the piece of pvc (that he was shipped in) back there and he's been hanging around it. He looks better though, not breathing as heavily and more active. smile.gif
Nanobuds
well thats good smile.gif
octoman
happy.gif jawfish is fun
Lalani
Well... one masked goby and jawfish are dead.
The other gobies are fine and quite active. Not skittish at all. They were all in the back of the tank when I got home, but as soon as I walked up to the tank they shot up to the front glass waiting for food.
Nanobuds
tears01.gif im sorry!!

Thanks, TJ! I'll take a new FTS tomorrow after I do a water change.

Oh, and I put a couple of frags of frogspawn and hammer in the 15gal.. and they're looking pretty darn good. The frogspawn is already a darker color...
steely185
I like your gobies. They look nice in your tank.

Lalani
I fragged a few heads of frogspawn and transferred them, along with a small hammer, to the 15gal. with the Sundial light over it. Within a day, the frogspawn is looking 100x better... deeper color, inflating more...

Looks like I may turn the 15gal into a frogspawn/hammer haven.
Weetabix7
I've actually started wondering whether the light over my tank was too strong for some of my stuff.
Might have been the case with your Frogspawn.
Lalani
Ya, seems like that's the case. Bah humbug.
elsefailed
great pics and tank
just a question about your pink yuma? does it not like being high in the tank?
im wondering if mine is getting toooo much light
thanks!
Lalani
Mine is sitting on the sand bed and seems to be doing just fine. I did have it on the rocks and it didn't look so great though, so less light may be better. smile.gif

Speaking of the yuma........ we're making babies. wub.gif

And I freakin' love the gobies. They stay pretty much in the front of the tank, in the mid and lower regions, but they aren't skittish at all. Little piggies too, always begging for food. wub.gif

Btw, elsefailed, great website. Your photography portfolio is awesome. bowdown01.gif
Nick's Reef
I freaking love those lil' gobies lani! I just took the Bangaii out of my dad's tank since he just always stayed hiding in the corner since his clowns and angel scared him. bet he'd eat the gobies, might be worth a try. wink.gif
Weetabix7
Yay Gobies!!! happydance.gif
Can I has Baby Yuma if my tank starts to behave?
I can trade something or other...
Lalani
NO

tongue.gif
Of course you can. flower.gif
And Richie too, when we eventually get around to trading, lol.
