Since the ban on export of Tonga live rock last year we have struggled to find an appropriate substitute.

Most of the Fiji rock that is currently imported is shipped by boat and is not very alive by the time it reaches the US so we have avoided this type of rock. The Fiji Pukani rock is nice but is very brittle and thus you get A LOT of rubble.

Our NEW Southeast Asian Specialty Live Rock is not brittle so you will get no rubble, it has rugged and colorful coralline coverage, it has very nice shapes, and it is clean with NO ODOR. We have all size pieces available including some awesome table-top pices. We sell the rock by the pound and it is curing in our systems not sitting in boxes, we do not sell it by the box lot--it is hand-picked according to your specs.

THIS IS THE ROCK WE HAVE BEEN SEEKING--IT IS THE VERY BEST LIVE ROCK AVAILABLE TODAY!!!!!!!!!

how much is the shipping charge for about 50Lb to zip28216?
Mr. Fosi
Probably best to contact them through their website.

I bought rock of Dr. Mack when I first started and I have been very happy with it. Almost three years in an there are still new things popping out of it.

Yes, this rock is shipped to us by air, IT IS NOT BOAT ROCK!!!!!!!!! The cheap Fiji rock you see for sale is in fact brought in by boat, I have photos of the sea containers arriving in LA and photos of the bare rock that had been sitting in boxes for weeks. THE ROCK WE SELL IS ALL FRESH AND SHIPPED BY AIR WEEKLY. We tank all the rock upon arrival and it is very fresh with no odor. This is very nice rock!!!!!!!!

The rock itself has really great coraline algae that seems to be holding up very well. We've had worms, snails, hermits, a couple of small pistol shrimps, and who knows what other critters show up in our curing vats where we hold the rock. Of course every piece is different, but on the whole this is some of the most 'alive' pacific live rock we've seen in a very long time.
