Yea often do you do a water change and how much?

5 gallons every weekend.I have a friend thats says is gonna test my water one day cause in makes him mad how well my tank always does.

Haha yea your tank does look really good. My weekly water change turns in to 2 weeks. I know it's bad. So 15% every week and my nitrates should drop hopefully. Would you recommend doing a water change twice a week until they get down?

the first one is one i wanted and i may keep.I liked one of the others that a buddy really wanted more so may not keep mine and look for another one with more gold.Im picky like that.

Gosh your tank is gonna be loaded. Wish I had a couple bills to drop on corals.

Its all about getting good deals and i tend to do that alot with the local clubs.Lately i have been giving some good deals also to locals also.I sold all 5 other these clams for 30 or less each...........

just got back from local swap with a big coolor full of stuff.Was a great time except running into people from the area asking how im gonna fit anything else in my tank and some giving me crap to get a bigger tank.



I will get some pics later of some of the stuff.Got some nice big head blastos,sweet red chalice,hollywood stunner chalice,mini carpet nem,some rainbow palys and alot more

Thanks. me too lol.Yeah so so many people want some of it but im not gonna give it up.I dont get many good pics of it but it get to be alot bigger then what it was in these last pics.Right now its not liking the flow from the mp20.Before i had the koralias and played with flow to get it just perfect for the frog and some other corals.Cant have the acans yet but maybe someday when i find something else i like more.JK

looks like you did pretty well at the swap. I picked up 7 different frags and got a really great deal on about 4 of them. was a great time really glad i went and glad you talked me into going. i'll hafta post some pics of my additions soon too lol. your tank is the cats meow.

Yeah get some pics up.I had that cooler 3/4 of way full and wont say how much spent.It sucked when i got it all into tank cause when look at it you cant really even see much that i got lol.Alot of the frags were more expensive small things etc.My favorite i think is the mini carpet that was above my blenny in one pic and the fire and ice chalice from wet thumb.Oh wait that blasto was from wet thumb also and very nice.I really liked the lady from wet thumb,She was nice.

I finally got some pics posted on my thread from the swap. I saw wet thumbs stuff looked nice but also expensive. I forgot the ladys name I got the orange monticap and orange digitata from, only $20 for both plus she was nice so that was my steal of the day. next time i'm bringing a cooler for sure. I bought some cynocrete gel and joes juice and the edge on the packaging cut a hole in the bag i was carrying my stuff in... so that was not cool.

Yeah i saw the pics of your tank.Its looking good.The lady cut me a deal on the two frags i got from her at wet thumb so wasnt as bad as sticker price lol.I wanted bigger blastos and she had nice ones.They had coolers there if needed one i guess somewhere but i didnt see them anywhere.It was a good time but spent too much $

your time will come... moo ha ha ha! my sea hare is pretty fat... and ugly, but strangely kinda cute. Turbos mowing the gelidium down and my Ac 70 comes thursday so i'm pumped to set my little diy refugium. And I would have to agree with the spending down on at the swap. but on avg I only spent about $16 per frag which was really nice. you got me hooked man, all my lfs are going to go out of business!

lol im sure it will.I think im gonna upgrade to a 40b or something in that nature in soon now or maybe a rimless tank that marine depot stocks with the same footprint.I have a idea how to use a top on it and still look good so i might go that route.I have always had issues with some lps corals adjusting to light in this shallow tank and i think something a bit taller may help a bit with that.How is the cube doing?

really good, pretty much got all the fw's under control may see one or two here and there if you look at it for like ten min but much much better. michelle really cashed in on some sweet paly's. I'll hafta get a shot of her tank up. I think I like her tank better than mine actually.

First of all congrats! Nice Tank. Secondly, I just wanna clarify that you DON'T ADD ANY SUPPLEMENTS to your tank?!?!?! My LFS is always telling me to add this and that. I'm spending an arm and a leg on these so called needed supplements. I'm jealous if all you do is religious water changes. If that's the case, then you've converted me.

P.S I'm not saying water changes are easy. It's pretty tedious if you ask me. But I know it's something we all gotta do.

Thanks.I never ever have added a drop of any supplements in this tank.I do a 5 gallon water change every week and thats all.I prob spend 15 20 minutes total a week doing water change and cleaning glass etc.Its a piece of cake to keep up with.I would watch your parmeters before adding anything.No one can say what a tank needs and doesnt need without that info.Sounds like your lfs is trying to make some money off you or something.
