Thanks man, he is a cool ass fish.. eats anything.. the mystery wrasse don't like him but they never fight... the lantern bass just respects his gangsta and perches. I still want a dottyback for this tank, it'll have to be big and mean already so it can survive

Well thats a quick fix. Have him punch sides of beef and run until he can make it all the way up that flight of stairs. He'll be a wrrrrreckin' machine!

Your Lantern Bass is awsome. It's eyes are creepy and reminds me of a frogs.

Yeah if I'm gonna do that I'll buy a whole new tank thats already drilled with a sump and start over, or... buy a fluval osaka 84 gallon and drill THAT.

Unless of course you're talking in general, then yes they are awesome... and most people cant have them for many reasons, but I can for many reasons so it's the perfect fish. A customer brought it in today and it was nice and well fed, little pot belly and bright colors... might have been ORA because it came from the store... super active like you would expect from any healthy dottyback so I was stoked. We have 3 at the store but they are all in the sump so it would be impossible to get one of those... For some reason I guess I have a thing for mean ass pretty fish.... mystery wrasse, neon dottyback, lantern basslet, dusky jawfish, pink skunk....it is always active!
