Set up some sort of auction. The better the pattern, the higher the price. Price is based on demand.

everyone is in the raffle so far as we speak i will post an updated list when the clowns are ready. i have about 300 of their babies and i am almost positive that i will get at least 25 to 50 snowflakes from them. My buddy has a pair in venice that are breeding and he gets about 25 out of a hundred with snowflake patterns. So far zeero have died they are going through meta as wee speak and two more pairs are schedualed to lay tomorrow. I am getting flusterd lol lots of clowns so little time but i have worked out a schedual that has fit their needs perfect. So the great news is i counted my death toll from day one to day 20 with my picasso and snowflake babies and out of 1400 babies total between the both of them i have lost 14 from day one. I say i figured out my little problem lol now its time to grow them fast and send you what i am so addicted to lol se ya guys and gals thank you very much for following. It means allot. And sometimed seeing that you all are so interested keeps me going cuz if no one was interested it would be no fun

Well here is an update. I checked the babies today and i can see a bunch that have just gotten head stripes and i can def see allot of white on their faces and behind their eyes. Very good indications of some crazy looking fish. To me a couple look very extreme so maybe they will be really white but the reest have zig zag head bars and very thick. I am almost 100 percent positive that snowflakes are starting to show. I will keep updates as they progress, now if i can only find my 90 mm macro lens that my son found and usd it as a throwing toy 400 dollars later. lmao and its a tamron to top it off

Thank you for your comments and comliments. I have followed chelseyy and she has very nice fish unfortunately she hasnt had luck. I have a feling it is her female that is not producing fertile eggs. If she wants some advice because i have been down that road feel free to let her no i am willing to help. On the other hand many people have brd snowflakes but proving babies is difficult to find. There was a guy on rf central breeding a snowflake with an onyz but that would be considered a hybrid which is fine to some peopl not me. Any way there is no competition for me cuz i do this for fun and why not make a bit of money with something you enjoy, Either way i wont stop breeding clowns whether they sell or not i will put out some of the most beautiful clowns the hobby has seen you can count on that

good question i really dont know if they are going to be extreme white. On a bunch of them i see white starting and connecting behind the head bar on others i dont. I guess time will tell which ones develope allot and which ones dont. These fish are about half your pinky nail they are extremely small. Either way i like their head bars and i think they look pretty sweet. I am not a fan of extremely white clowns. I was thiking like a semi snowflake maybe these fish will have a bit more character who knowswe shall see. It will be interesting to see what the other 6 pairs throw out
wow way cute!
so cool how you can see all three white bars on that last little clown!

thank you for your comments. They definetly are pretty cool looking. They have the snowflake head bars where it looks like a tore up flag. The middle bars are wider and also have abnormal points and edges. I dont know what to say lol they might be a bit different some are like the ones in the pictures and some are more extreme. All of them have sideburns. My question is and with your help of course do you give them a name or do you call em snowflakes i dont know. I want to keep it simple cuz there are like 9 million different names. I was thinking like florida snow lol or flurries lol just pecking at names i dont know what do yall think

Dec 4 2009, 09:45 AM
I think if you actally created a new varient of clownfish or snowflake then you vcould name it something new but since ora already has snowflakes and semi-snowflakes then you better stick with that
christosclowns
Dec 4 2009, 03:58 PM
I agree with the fact of sticking with snowflake but if they trun out to be different then ORA's semi snowflakes im goign to have to give them their own name. My male has allot of black aorund the white and as far as ora's go i havent seen the black really come through even with adult snowflakes. I also notice that these guys are so tiny and the black border has already started. Bottom line is they are a snowflake variant, i just dont like the name semi snowflake and they might not be exactly snowflakes. The male is but some of the offspring have their own character. Either way the decision is up to me.I just through the question out there just to see responses. USF i do agree with you yet i also like the fact that since i produced them i have the right to name them anything I like. I will see how they trun out when they get older and make the decision when that time comesOther opinions would be greatly appreciated thanks USF

How about 100 a piece and 150 a pair thats where im going to stay cuz i dont want people to get hammerd with shipping. Shipping is ging to be around 60 bucks i think this is better so thats final. 100 a piece 150 a pair i will start a list right now for who wants to buy them. The raffle list for the free pair will be different. Number will be limitied. I will only be realeasing a couple pairs at a time. They will be ready in about 2 months give or take an inch
