I've been to 5 different Frag Swaps in 4 different cities, and last yrs Nashville Swap was the best of them all.

We have also been know to grab a bite to eat with fellow reefers. Come join us!

Oh, also, is there anyone who's local and who will be at the Swap who is interested in getting my Acrylic 16g tank?
I just upgraded from that tank to a 20L and no longer need it.
It has a false wall with an overflow and sump built into the back of it.
It measures 15x15x16 and is very well made.
If anyone wants it I'll sell it for $60 and can bring it to the Swap.
And if anyone non-local is reading this, NO I don't want to ship it!!

I'm hoping to score 3 or 4 nice softies (zoas, rics, palys)

BibleSue will be there with a TON of nice zoa and Paly frags.
Rics are harder to find, but last year there was a dealer there with a bunch of rics, and he lowered the prices on them drastically at the end of the show.
I'm hoping to get some softies and LPS and I'm HOPING to avoid the temptation of the all the nice SPS that showed up there last year.
For some reason at least half of the frags F/S last year were SPS, but it was nice sps for insanely cheap prices.

You should think about getting some Acans, there will be a guy there with a LOT of nice Acan frags for reasonable prices.
Acans are easier to keep than a lot of ppl realize, IME.

Good to hear that Sue will have some things I want I might try an acan, too.

Well, I scored a grand total of 18 sweet frags It was so great to finally meet you Weets and Suzy-Q We had so much fun and can't wait till the next meet Great to meet SPerry, Merc, and everyone else too!!!! I will try to post some pics tomorrow. The mini is beautiful and swelled up as soon as I put the bag in to acclimate. Only two frags have not opened or started to open. I'm so excited And thanks Sue, Tristan is very excited about frags

I got 10 nice frags and a maroon clown. Plus two free samples of DTs phyto, a free nano overflow from Glass Holes and an awesome deal on a canopy for the 20L I am setting up. In addition to seeing Weets, Sue and some new folks. All in all it was well worth the 3hr drive. Pics to come once things start opening.

Unbelievable, insano, cool swap, I had SUCH a blast!!!!

Got 2 awesome Frogspawns, including one that Mercuryne shared with me from his beautiful tank.
Also got Stardust People Eaters, Multicolor Zoa Frag, Blue Cloves, Blue Cespitularia, Blood Red Spongodes, GORGEOUS Purple SPS frags from SPerry's tank.
Oh man, it was just awesome.
Won a couple of cool drawings including a MUCH need gift cert. AirWaterIce.com.

Had a WONDERFUL time hanging out with Mercuryne, Clifford213 and his son, SPerry and Doris, PlainJane, Volupte79. We have some really good ppl here on NR.com and it was so nice to meet and hang out with some of them for the first time.
Would also like to give an honorable mention to Tristan. Cliffy, you are definitely doing something right cause Tristan ROCKS! Tristan, you can hang with us ReefGeeks anytime, you're family now.

Here are some of the things I got. They are still kinds po'ed...I cleaned the inside glass a little right before taking the pics.

Tubbs, an unnamed, and one I got from the Kitchen but can't remember the name. That frag in the top left I have no idea what it is or if I bought it. Something Sue slipped into my cooler???


Jackolanterns from the Kitchen and the one directly in front of it (don't remember the name). Nuclears, bam bams, whammin water melons? from the Kitchen, and rainbow montipora.




Both frags in the top left (on the sand), the frag between the greens and blues, and the eagle eyes(?), anthelia.

Cliffy, YW and on the frag plugs, just pop the corals right off and glue them where you want them, pretty straightforward.
Also, your mystery frag from Sue is a Micro, I think.

I picked those up at a lfs not long ago. I'm gonna call them Chocolate Blues if its not taken I have a frag plug that has one lone polyp on the bottom side of it. You are welcome to it, if you want.


I also spotted two tiny aips on my Tubbs

I am working on a different tank for all these frags and League. It's a 2.5g on its side. Hopefully the silicone is cured by morning It is shallow and wider. The old silicone was extremely hard to remove so I only got the front pane spotless. Eh, we'll see how it turns out. If I like it, I might leave League in this tank and just make a zoa, paly, mini, anthelia, and xenia garden. I guess I could isolate one little shroom rock. Tristan is going to help me set up our new tank
