Reef Chicks has a new able assistant. We will have to change our name to Reef Chicks & Dude if Tristan can be talked into joining us in the kitchen. He was an awesome helper. He even got the hang of the impulse sealer right away & Weetie still fights with it. Cliff, he's a keeper for sure! It was awesome to get to meet you both & hang out with your son. I couldn't have done it without him.

Thanks to all of you NR peeps that came over to visit while I was stuck behind the table. It was so great to spend time with you. Thank you to those who purchased things from the kitchen. Here is a group shot of those that were there at the end. This was my CUC minus Scott & Doris who had to leave. We have never broken down & gotten out so fast. You guys are the best!

Just wanted to check in and see how everyone's new stuff was doing in their tanks and if they're happy with what they got.
All of my SPS are looking good, with full polyp extension.
My Blue Xenia/Cepistularia has already shown growth in the week that's been in my aquarium.
Blue Cloves are looking good; I've already given a small frag of them to a local Reefer friend.
Stardust Ppl Eaters and Zoas looking good.
The Frogspawn I got from Mercuryne looks awesome, I love the color on it.
The only coral I've had any issues with. While I didn't notice it in the tank at the Frag Swap, when I was acclimating it to my tank that night I saw that one of the 4 lg. heads had a gaping mouth.
I've given it about 3 lugol's dips, and I saw today that a new translucent skin was growing over where the mouth had been gaping open.
It inflates fully and seems fine so far.

I won all 7 components of the AquaVitro line of liquid supplements at the Swap, and have used the Alk, Mg, and Ca supplements and my tank is looking better for it.
With the gift certificates I won to AirWaterIce.com, I've ordered replacement DI and sediment filters for my RO/DI (which I REALLY needed) and also ordered a combo TDS/Temp/EC meter. I'm hoping those arrive in the mail today.
