Ok so I am the luckiest fellow ever. My wife is getting me a new 12 gallon Aquapod for Christmas. This is to replace the current tank that I have that I am gonna loose due to our new baby needing the room that its in.

Anyway this poses a new question. Who would you guys order from. I just did a google search and it came up with a few sites that I have never heard or seen. This is what I got from the search.

Shopping results for aquapod 12Current USA
AquaPod 12 Gallon $166.99 - MarineDepot.com
Current USA 12 Gallon AQUAPOD 2X27W W/LUNAR $124.99 - Aloha Aquariums
AquaPod Aquarium 12 GAL $136.00 - Anything Saltwater

I know that there a big price diff, but w/o knowing anything about them what would you do?

Thanks
StevieT

$131 before shipping. This is a good deal. Fosters is great, if it does come in borken by chance, they will replace it no questions asked.

Hey thanks for the info on the promos. You guys are great. But I have something to make the deals a little better. I found this page on google http://www.retailmenot.com/view/drsfostersmith.com and used the 4th from the top cupon code. On top of that I ordered it through my discover card which saved me an additional 10% So the final total for the Aquapod 12 came to $122.39 at my door. Thanks for your help and info. Now go out and save more with those cupon codes

Hey Cowkid, is there a good LFS in your area?
thecowkid
Viinse we have a few. I am not gonna say that they are gonna cause your jaw to hit the floor or anything like that. But there are three that I shop at. Aquatica is prob the best for frags, but the owner is a jerk. Probably due to him selling acrylic and hates it that I do as well. Then there Sandys and Exotic pet. If you go to Exotic you have to get there when the shipment comes in. There is always folks waiting and the shipment is sold out by the evening. If your wanting something nice they will order it in for you. Rob and Mike are the owners and are good friends of mine.

Where are you located in KY?
viinse
Elizabethtown

Thanks.

You guys have any good shops there? E-town is only 35 mins from my house.

lol

No we don't. laugh.gif

I know you're 35 minutes away, that why I was hoping you would say there was the greatest lfs in Kentucky at Mt Washington or Shepherdsville.

We have Feeder's Supply and E-town pet center which has a few corals that seemed reasonably priced but not much selection.

Ive been ordering my dry goods on-line. Ive been scoping out the Louisville shops, but my tank is just 40 days old so I haven't started stocking yet.

Thanks for mentioning Exotic. I haven't been there yet. That place has been around a while hasn't it?

Well, since you posted this in Nano Customs Sponsor Forum, seems the right thing to do would be to order from them, IMO.
thecowkid
Scott sorry that I did that. Didnt mean to step on anyones toes.

Exotic use to be pets palace. They still have a pets palace in the bonnaire shopping center, but its not that great of a shop.
