to reduce fence presence: Open the Aperture up, and get close to the fence, but not too close. I stay about 6 feet.

I have an example of a f/5 vs /f2.8 the last time I was at the Zoo. But I don't want to post my photos on your photo thread.

If there hadn't been so many zoo keepers around I woulda jumped the little safety fences to get closer, but alas. :/

You should check out Bimini Bob's by Mobile Bay. Best blackened red snapper I've had in a while. It's next to the Hilton Garden INN.

I like 2, 8 and 16 the best but they are all excellent

halfie, thanks for the tip. I love this little cafe, Spot of Tea, across the street from Cathedral Square. The food is delicious.

I don't think I've heard of it. I didn't spend a lot of time in the city it's self. I just stayed in the city.

Another place (it is a bit pricey - $30+ a plate) is off exit 11 off 85 near Montgomery. It's called Carles Anthony's Restaurant and Pub. They have the best almond crusted grilled mahimahi. I would almost drive the 400+ miles there just for dinner.

I practically lived off that exit for 10 weeks straight. I spent a lot of my time at that restaurant.

I love the one of the bass all by himself in the shallow water.
