OK, here are some photos from the July 27th Frag Swap, Corals, corals and more corals getting acclimated in a 29 gallon Biocube tank which is for sale by the way, contact Nessbuilder if interested. Funny thing is I showed up with 8 corals and left with 11 and there were still a few left in the tank. Great showing peeps, we gotz the coralz.

Lots to see in this little nano size frag tank.

And the FOOD, WOW we out did ourselves this time. Thanks to our hosts Nessbuilder and his wife, salads and beverages, you guys know how to make people feel welcome. And to everyone who brought food it was all good, ribs, bbq and curry chicken, baked oysters, so much food that I couldn't keep track, but I left there plenty full. BBQ'd Oysters anyone, get em while there hot.

Girls had lots to talk about.

Guys had plenty to talk about too, Junkitu let's us know how big the Mahi Mahi he caught was smile.gif

Our newest NCNRS member, awwwwwww how cute is that?

Nessbuilder showing us all the custom choppers he builds.

Everyone enjoying the food and drink, Mmmmmm, mmmm, good.

Man of the house, enjoying a cerveza on what turned out to be a perfect day for a BBQ.

Seed begins the raffle with Ness's kids assisting at pulling the names. Winners were Adolfo425 who got the grand prize which were a bunch of goodies including a complete water testing kit, Jusiko who got a refractometer, Lear who got some goodies and me, I got an aqua mat which came in handy for the Duncan fragging demo.

DBTC Duncan frag demo where tension was getting thick as I took a chisel to the poor coral. All went well and I showed people several ways to frag an LPS stony coral with different tools, sheers, dremel with diamond tip blade, and the ever so trusty small chisel and hammer.

There must have been some great food because at the beginning of the day Adolfo425 didn't have a gut, but by the end of the day he was sporting a full belly, lol, jk, rib, rib, Gotta haze the new guy smile.gif Especially since he got the grand prize for the raffle.

Everyone ganging up on the frag tank.

OK we had the NCNRS forum up and people were logging in while we were having the meet, we have your name and we know who you are. So you better attend the next frag swap. And to make things clear, everyone is welcome to attend these gatherings, the more the merrier, so we better see you at the next meet, or were gonna find you and drag you screaming and kicking.

Ness and his son in front of his awesome reef tank. Awwwww father passes down his reef addiction to his son, LOL.

All in all a great frag swap, this time around everyone was all about sharing and trading coral, so coral was being given away left and right. Usually people sell frags for $10, $20, $30 bucks per, so this time around was a totally nice suprize, guess the club spirit must have kicked in. Everyone went home with something and evryone went home with a full belly that's for sure. Thanks to everyone that made this BBQ/Frag Swap so much fun. I'm looking forward to the next one happening in October. If your in the SF Bay Area be sure to check it out, free to all smile.gif
