gallon vase

Just took it with cell phone. Color came out crappy. Got some nice purple coraline.
Was originally a 20H but put in 10 gallon until I get some money together to do a tank with a sump and maybe metal halide.
First setup on 7/10/10. Almost 6 months old now.

Approximately 2 gallons and just at 6 months old



As soon as the bulb comes in the mail I will be changing the lighting to a PAR30 bulb, should look a lot better and bluer the lighting now is basically 10k, still I'm very happy with my first pico.

My Biocube 29 HQI. Obviously a work in progress with the coral selection. Now that the parms are good after the move I can start adding things.

Filter: AC70 fuge mod with a 7w clip on pc light
Pumps: Koralia nano 425gph
Heaters: 2 50w eheim jagers (in AC70)
Lighting: Coralife Aqualight Lunar 4x24w with stock 10k and actinic bulbs
23 lbs. of BRS eco rocks and 3 lbs. of fiji live rock

Here is my thread on coverting the BiOrb Life 60litre into a Marine/Reef tank:

I started this conversion in 2009 by setting it up as a fish only with Live Rock(FOWLR). I removed the starndard Under Gravel Filter(UGF) with a bowl cutting mod followed by adding Rubble to the ait tube, and finally removing it all. I then decided it was too much of a chore keeping N03 levels down without a skimmer and or a sump. 2011 was the year of the sump and skimmer modification and the 7x14'000k & 3x50'000k light upgrade...In the process of adding some lps, sps and soft corals!
