They are XM 10Ks. I used to run Helios 20K, but I got tired of the dim, blue look. Unfortunately, there aren't any decent bulbs between 10K & 20K.


Helios 20K W/ 2x 160W Super Actinic VHO


XM 10K w/ 1x 160W 454nm actinics

I'm definitely enjoying the truer color rendition of the 10Ks. If anything, I'd add a set of super actinics, instead of running a bluer MH bulb.

I think it was just the pic. Second pic w/ 10k's is much better.

I dose every other day with 1 tsp. of Tropic Marin Bio-CA (maintains Alk and Ca)
So easy and simple.

Here is my Finnex 30g with 250W MH. 7 months old. Fish: pair of cinnamon clowns, rainsford goby, scooter blenny, strawberry pseudochromis. 2 fire shrimp, 2 emerald crabs(never see 'em), pulsing xenia(getting large), rose bulb anemone, wavy cap toadstool, ORA birdsnest SPS, frogspawn, zooanthid frag, yellow polyps, green starburst, button polyps, mushroom rock. Thanks for the help here on the forum.
