Think the point is that in your own opinion your skill would skyrocket (the dotted line), but then you post a picture at /p/ and get pushed back real good. They can be a bit harsh and evil in their comments

yeah it has strong effect..i used Photomatix, PS, Topaz Labs

i like the 2nd pictures looks cool
I installed HDRtist yesterday, and these are the first HDR pictures I've ever made. Maybe the "pro" version would have better adjusting options, but hey, this was free.
