Nice. What kind of lighting are you going to have?
nanoty
Nice, I like 72 bowfronts. Your kinda leaving us hanging here.
nessbuilder
Havent decided on lighting yet doing research on T5 fixtures. I am running 2 koralia 3's and probably gonna go with a tunze 9005 skimmer.

Kind of a strange coincidence. I too just upgraded from a BC29 to a 72 gal bow front and my BC29 was about a year old. I notice that you have 4 Koralias going? I only have two and a Cascade 800 canister filter going and I am getting really good water flow throughout the whole tank (at least it looks that way to me). Reckon I should try a video clip to get some opinions.

Nothing really, just skimmer, fuge and return pump. I do use NSW (natural sea water) for my WC
PinStripes
Did you use your purple up or something, thats impressive coralline algae

Nope, I do dose calcium now but that's only cause I've started keeping sps
ReefKing
Where do you pick up your NSW from?
Kraylen
Sick tank man. if you ever frag anything lemme know wink.gif
nessbuilder
Neptune's or Aquarium Concepts
ReefKing
Cool, I usually pick mine up from Neptune's too or Atlantis. I was just wondering because I have a mild red slime on my sand. I thought maybe it was from the NSW

beautiful tank! I love the bowfronts. I have a 46 freshwater chiclid and a 16 coldwater fantail goldfish. I would love to get a really huge one 90 or 150 way down the road but I don't think I would ever be able to do saltwater in it. I would be too afraid of something going wrong and being out all that money for the coral. LOL I know...I'm a chicken. But I do love yours so I will just live it through you. smile.gif

for the most part it's easier to go big then Nano or Pico. with that much water you can catch stuff before it gets outta control. This tank was my vote for our clubs TOTM, as he has had amazing growth and proven that the tank can be mantained to that level
