I know it's pushing the limits of a NANO-reef, but I saw an awesome Lion fish a few weeks ago in a friends tank. Does anyone have any pics of their own?

Those guys are so cool.

At least I hope you are talking about a dwarf lionfish.... and what size is the nano tank.

Yes, I have pics. I had a red radiata and a black volitans...both in a 55 gallon and both eventually got too big and were given to a zoo aquarium....don't even consider one for a nano...please.

+1 for what is your tank size. Dwarf lions should be house in mid-sized reefs of maybe 30gal or above because of their messy and nitrogen-rich (protein) diets and the need for a good filtration system (they can fit inside smaller tanks, but that doesn't mean there is sufficient filtration from the live rock)

Look here for a list of dwarf lion species and scroll down for what are their needs in tanks, feeding, etc.
